TRANSFORMING EDUCATION

Our Head Teacher, Pilar Fernández, recently participated in the “Transforming Education” forum at the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce, where she had the opportunity to share her vision and exchange insights with other education professionals. Pilar highlighted the school’s unique career guidance program, “Path to University”, which is designed to support our students in their personal and professional development. The program begins with the creation of personalized profiles for each student. These profiles, crafted by the Guidance Department, reflect their personal, academic, social, and emotional aspects. This helps teachers understand their students better while enabling students to develop deeper self-awareness and improve in all areas.

From 2nd ESO, students take aptitude and interest tests to identify their strengths and preferences. This year, they can also join the “SOY MÁS” Volunteer Program, where they can practice their soft skills while contributing to meaningful causes.

In 4th ESO, students participate in the “Work Experience” program, gaining hands-on exposure in industries aligned with their interests, providing a glimpse of professional life in specific fields.

As students progress to Bacallaurete, the program intensifies with personalized guidance from their personal tutors and the Orientation Department. Students receive support in selecting degree programs and universities, whether national or international, along with assistance on application processes, deadlines, and required documentation.

This year, the program is further enriched with the launch of the first “Deciding Your Future” Fair. The fair is a valuable opportunity for students to broaden their understanding of the professional world, explore career options, and make informed decisions about their futures.

The event will feature professionals from various fields, delivering 25-minute talks where they share their experiences, advice, and key insights about their industries.
