SUCCESS AT THE NATIONAL MATHS OLYMPIAD!
We are thrilled to announce that our student, Daniel García-Escudero, made an outstanding mark at the National Math Olympiad, organized by the Spanish Federation of Math Teachers’ Societies (FESPM). But his success doesn’t stop there! In addition to his talent in mathematics, Daniel is an accomplished pianist, reflecting something very important to us at Colegio Juan de Lanuza: we don’t pigeonhole students into science or the arts—we shape well-rounded global citizens.
Thanks to our educational programme, which includes STEAM and Music, our students can explore all their interests, and Daniel is a great example of that!
At the National Olympiad, Daniel excelled in three categories:
- Individual Test
- Team Test
- Mathematical Photography Contest, where his photo, Electrifying π, earned him an honorable mention.
This success highlights the importance of fostering creativity, critical thinking, and well-rounded learning across all fields.
Congratulations, Daniel! We are confident you’ll keep shining, both on stage and in mathematics!
