1º ESO Embarks on an International eTwinning Interdisciplinary Project
This year, our 1º ESO students are diving into an exciting interdisciplinary eTwinning project titled “The Wizards’ Tournament”, inspired by the Harry Potter universe. This initiative connects schools from Spain, France, Italy, Germany, and Turkey, fostering collaborative and international learning while promoting values such as teamwork, creativity, and multilingual communication.
Highlights of the Project:
- Students have created their own “houses,” designing shields and attributes that reflect their values.
- Monthly challenges and activities help strengthen a range of skills, with points awarded to their respective teams.
- Their achievements are compiled in a creative scrapbook, documenting their learning journey through visual and artistic expression.
- To further enrich the experience, they exchanged Christmas cards with their French counterparts, symbolically delivered through “owl-mail”, enhancing cultural connections and building international bonds.
This interdisciplinary project not only inspires students to learn innovatively but also develops essential skills such as international collaboration, creative expression, and a global perspective.
At Colegio Juan de Lanuza, we remain committed to initiatives that prepare our students for a connected world, supporting their personal and academic growth through meaningful experiences.
