A Week of Personal Growth at El Casón Farm School
Our 2nd Grade students experience a transformative learning journey in nature
The stay at El Casón Farm School, located in Tobed, is one of the most enriching experiences of the year for our 2nd Grade students at Juan de Lanuza School. More than a school trip, this initiative is part of our commitment to providing an education that goes beyond the classroom.
For a whole week, students immerse themselves in a rural environment where curricular content comes to life through hands-on activities on the farm. Direct contact with nature, animals, and gardening fosters active learning and encourages curiosity and observation.
However, the most valuable lessons are not only academic. Through daily tasks and shared experiences, students develop essential life skills such as autonomy, teamwork, responsibility, and adaptability to new situations—outside their usual family environment.
This long-awaited experience is one they will never forget. The bonds they build, the lessons they learn, and the joy they feel are an integral part of their journey to becoming well-rounded citizens, equipped to face the future with knowledge, empathy, and resilience.
