CELEBRATING THE OPENING OF THE JUAN DE LANUZA CHAIR OF EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION!
On November 7, we enjoyed a special moment at Colegio Juan de Lanuza with the inaugural conference, “Creating Well-being for Growth.”
We were joined by esteemed friends and experts:
- José Ángel Castellanos, Professor of Systems Engineering and Automation and Vice-Rector of Academic Policy at the University of Zaragoza, who presented the “1 Plus 5 Seal” project, a certification for transversal skills aimed at university students. This resonates with our school’s commitment to fostering well-rounded abilities, much like our Title Supplement for students.
- Javier Lucia, alumnus and Backend Developer at NTT Data, shared his insights on balancing well-being and AI, emphasizing the importance of ethical technology use with human oversight.
José Ángel also fondly expressed how the school has played a vital role in his now-grown children’s development, thanking us for “giving them wings to fly.” This heartfelt testimonial highlights our community’s lasting impact on the well-being and growth of students and their families.
The event concluded with a rich discussion among teachers and families, underlining our commitment to integrating technology from a human-centered perspective to support holistic student growth.
Thank you to everyone for making this event a success and supporting our mission to innovate in education. We begin this year with renewed enthusiasm and dedication!
