EDUCATION GALA

This year saw the first Gala for Education held in Aragón, promoted by the Aragonese Association of Psychopedagogy and the Aragón Herald. Its aim was to recognise all those in the education sector – teachers, non-teaching staff, families and all those involved in making a daily effort to achieve the best possible result.

The School was represented on the Emotional Education table by our Primary and Infants Counsellor, María Torrecilla, and Alejandra Cortés, Head of the Juan de Lanuza Chair. Other tables discussed innovative methodologies and projects being carried out all over Aragón, from rural areas to Vocational Training, hearing examples of good practice and outstanding results with students.

The Gala closed with Mikel Iturbe, Chief of the Aragón Herald, interviewing the Minister for Education, Pilar Alegría.

We love activities of this sort, where the work and merit of all those involved in education is recognised. The pandemic has highlighted the value of education, the work of teachers, students’ need to be in class, however this should be valued in pandemic times and always.
