ERASMUS+ PROJECT. FIRST STOP: POLAND
European Maker Space is the first Erasmus+ project the school has participated in involving movement of students and teachers. The participating members of the partnership are schools from Poland, Turkey, Croatia and our school, representing Spain, as the international coordinator of the project. The first stop on this tour was Poland, where 5 of our regular MakerSpace students from 1st ESO travelled with 2 of their teachers.
Not only did they take part in MakerSpace-style activities, such as Lego MindStorm workshops, during their week in Poland, they also enjoyed a full diary of cultural activities, such as visits to Cracow, Varsovia and a concentration camp, to name but a few. The Polish hosts’ hospitality and kindness were incredible, and we’ve taken notes for when it’s our turn to host the activity in June 2023.
For now, we’ll remember the great experience our students enjoyed, which not only helped them improve their technological skills, but more importantly, showed them how to behave in an international setting, taking centre stage in all their activities.

Next stop: Turkey, October 2022.
