Juan de Lanuza School Wins the 2025 Mentes AMI Award for Digital Competence
We are proud to announce that Juan de Lanuza School has been awarded the 2025 Mentes AMI Award in the Digital Competence category by Fundación Atresmedia, in collaboration with Fundación “la Caixa”, UNIE University, and Platino Educa.
The award, presented in Madrid during the 4th Mentes AMI Conference, recognizes the project “Beyond Technology: Developing Human Digital Competence”, which highlights our commitment to teaching technology with purpose, empathy, and critical thinking.
This recognition crowns more than 12 years of educational innovation, integrating computational thinking, robotics, 3D design, programming, and artificial intelligence from Early Years through Secondary Education.
At the heart of this evolution is our MakerSpace, a creative hub where students design, build, and learn by doing — turning technology into a tool for imagination and problem-solving.
For Juan de Lanuza, this is more than an award — it’s a reaffirmation of our belief that the future of education lies not in using more technology, but in using it better, with purpose, empathy, and humanity.
