LEARNING TO BE AN ENTREPRENEUR
At Juan de Lanuza, we start learning to be entrepreneurs at a very young age. “Aprendiendo a Emprender” (Learning to Entrepreneur) is a project by the Ibercaja Foundation that we have been working on with 5th-grade students for many years. The School Cooperatives Market is the culmination of an entire school year where students worked on how to create a cooperative, design a logo, create a brochure, and conduct a market study. They ran election campaigns to choose their positions, wrote their bylaws, and worked very hard on designing and manufacturing sustainable products to sell at the market. They have learned all the necessary aspects of setting up a cooperative, from assigning roles to working on the creative, commercial, and bureaucratic parts.
Congratulations to all the participants! Bee As Lanuza, the cooperative from 5th grade A, will donate their profits to Down Zaragoza, and LanuHelpers, the cooperative from 5th grade B, will donate their profits to the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
