To be socially responsable, focusing in people, and to offer the best education possible to our pupils, is our reason to be, always bearing in mind to give back to the community, and most particularly to  the Aragonese one.

With this prerogative, and with our Strategic Plan in mind, the school is the only educational center amongst the twenty businesses that joined the CVOL. ( Programa de Voluntariado Corporativo del Gobierno de Aragón)

Today, we have attended the official presentation of the Platform CVOL, where all Club members have received a brief recognition of their  merits, and most especially to the ones that devote ourselves to teach and encourage values such as volunteering  amongst our youngsters..

The CVOL Club is a system for the accreditation of competencies in voluntary action: we are talking about “soft skills” that are so highly valued in companies´ staff selection processes.

It is also an innovative social network that connects volunteers, or people that want to be volunteers, with volunteer organizations and their programmes.

Developing those “soft skills” is essential for us ( leadership, team work, conflict resolution abilities…etc) amongst our students. To be a volunteer implies to be optimistic, be able to relate to peers, to give back, to connect with people…etc.

The CVOL Programme  enables the acknowledgement of the skills of the volunteers, and values the contribution of volunteers to society in general. To belong to the CVOL network implies a commitment on our behalf to want to be part of the environment and contribute to the community that surrounds us.

At school, and as a result of the vision of our Strategic Plan, and the objective to search for a deeper personal development of our students, we created the volunteering programme SOY MAS. This initiative, created three years ago and coordinated by Ana Alvarez, as a key person that makes this possible: she helps to develop, encourages and promotes the transversal skills credited by CVOL, enabling our students to value their strengths.
