Snowshoeing in Baños de Panticosa with the Juan de Lanuza Mountain Club
On Sunday, 9th February, 39 members of our school community embarked on a thrilling snowshoeing excursion organized by the Juan de Lanuza Mountain Club, exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Baños de Panticosa.
To accommodate all participants, the outing featured three different routes based on experience levels:
- Beginner Route: Tailored for the youngest adventurers, this scenic trail meandered through the beautiful Baños forest, providing a safe and accessible snowy experience.
- Intermediate Route: This group reached La Mallata, offering a more challenging high-mountain experience.
- Advanced Route: The most experienced hikers ascended as far as the snow conditions allowed, getting close to the Ordicuso lakees, enjoying a spectacular alpine journey.
This experience was more than just an outdoor adventure—it strengthened values of teamwork, perseverance, and environmental respect, all essential components of our educational philosophy.
At Juan de Lanuza Mountain Club, we remain committed to outdoor experiences that connect us with nature and strengthen our community bonds.
A heartfelt thank you to all families and students who joined us on this unforgettable adventure!
