Soy Más , OUR VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM

From its beginnings in 1978, we keep the innovative spirit and the aim of developing our own unique projects very much alive in our School.

Soy más (I am much more) is one of those projects that we have in house since May 2019. It was created to contribute to the formation of our “well rounded” pupils, and part of an extensive education in values, fundamental aspects that are very present  in our day to day here at Juan de Lanuza.

After a first phase of sensibilization and information at School, guided by the Coordinadora Aragonesa de Voluntariado, we are going to offer several volunteering activities for the pupils of 4th ESO and Baccalaureate. From keeping company to the eldery, helping with the school homework to children without resources, or collaborating with other associations and their campaigns such as the Food Bank amongst others, are just some of the activities that they can choose to do.

 These activities are designed to put in practise the experiential learning methodology that we use in different subjects and stages: what a better way to learn about volunteering than becoming a volunteer!
