THANKS FOR PROJECT GAMBYTE
Project Gambyte, in collaboration with the N.G.O. Arambia (@arambia_asociacion), is the initiative of a group of Baccalaureate students as part of the New Venture Today programme and ICT class, which started just before the pandemic hit. The idea consisted of gathering computers donated by families, setting them up and passing them on to Arambia so they could be delivered to Gambia and used by public administrations. Their initial plan was thwarted by travel restrictions, but the team didn’t give up and kept searching until they found the way to get the computers to Gambia, where they are much needed.
We have received a letter of gratitude from the Gambia Ministry of Health and Kanifing Hospital, detailing how services for patients, the majority women and children, have improved thanks to this donation. We are very proud of our graduates and our NVT project for making a real, positive difference in our society, and the world. Congratulations!
