HARMONY ON THE WAY

With the aim of strengthening a peaceful atmosphere and sense of belonging when the groups in 1st and 3rd ESO are mixed, last year we had our first trip to the Camino de Santiago. It was a great success, so much so that it has become a fixed date in our diary.

Last week, students from 3rd ESO set off first thing in the morning to Somport. After a quick snack, they started the trek and were able to catch up on their summer escapades and chat with their teachers. Thursday’s rain couldn’t dampen their spirits and they arrived in Canfranc tired but happy. They spent the night in the Sargantana Hostel where they were very well looked after. The following day they continued on to Villanúa where they enjoyed outdoor activities with a spectacular natural backdrop.

They returned more united as a group and we’re sure the boys and girls in 1st ESO will enjoy  their Camino just as much, if not more, when they head off this week.
