Zaragoza to Host the First National STEAM Congress in 2025
Our Head Teacher, Pilar Fernández, had the honor of attending the presentation of the First National STEAM Congress, representing Mujeres Líderes en Educación. This groundbreaking event will take place in Zaragoza on February 6, 7, and 8, 2025.
The congress presents a unique opportunity to highlight the importance of education in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) for shaping the future of upcoming generations. As Pilar emphasized, we live in an increasingly technological world, and it is essential that our students—particularly our female students—have access to these disciplines to thrive in the future and contribute to society through creativity and innovation.
At Colegio Juan de Lanuza, we are fully committed to this mission, nurturing critical skills in our students such as problem-solving, effective communication, and harnessing technological potential. This ensures that they are not only equipped to face the challenges of a rapidly evolving world but also prepared to contribute talent and values to Aragón’s business landscape.
The First National STEAM Congress will bring together major partners such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Edelvives, Fundación Ibercaja, Fundación Hiberus, Academia de Inventores, Hub Kings Corner, and Mujeres Líderes en Educación, among others. Their collaboration positions this event as a key platform for educational transformation and fostering technological talent.
We are confident that this Congress will be a resounding success, marking a turning point in the promotion of STEAM education in our country.
