A DIFFERENT METHOD TO LEARN MATHS

Our method for teaching and learning mathematics, ABN (Algorithmic Method Based on Numbers), is already well established in the classrooms, with María José Simón at the head, as coordinator, 

Working with mathematics in a simple, natural and fun way was a main objective in the past, and that is why we implemented the ABN method in Juan de Lanuza, now we know that students and families are totally familiar with it. 

In this course, the ABN method is carried out in complete safety and with the relevant hygiene measures, so that children can handle the material without risk.

Thus, for example, in the 3rd year of Primary School different workshops have been carried out: 

-workshop for training in numbers, on the unit of one thousand, 

-workshop on composition and decomposition of numbers, 

-games with the table of 100 working with  euros, to calculate the money.

-games with the monster cards to add and subtract a number with hundreds

 -problems to deal with  initiation to multiplication
