Colegio Juan de Lanuza Shines at the IV Aragón Computer Science Olympiad

Colegio Juan de Lanuza has achieved outstanding results in the IV Aragón Computer Science Olympiad, further establishing itself as a leader in STEAM education. With the largest number of participants among all schools and an impressive collection of awards, our students showcased their talent, creativity, and problem-solving skills across various competition categories.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this edition was gender equity in participation and the strong presence of female winners. Out of the 37 finalists from our school, 19 were boys and 18 were girls, reflecting Juan de Lanuza’s commitment to inclusive education in technology. Notably, 9 out of the 11 awards were won by female students, demonstrating our ongoing efforts to empower young women in STEM fields.

Another significant achievement was the age of our winners. Most awards were secured by 1st and 3rd ESO students, competing against older participants, including those from Bachillerato. This further validates our high-quality technology program, which successfully inspires and nurtures talent from an early age.
