LONDON STUDY TRIP
Students from 1st Baccalaureate had a jam-packed diary this week in London. Due to the difficult circumstances at the beginning of the year, it was impossible to organise the study trip in 4th ESO, as is tradition, but thanks to the determination of the team of teachers and admin staff, our boys and girls weren’t left stranded.
This group, which has already experienced a historic pandemic, landed in London two days after another remarkable event, the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Amongst many other activities, they visited iconic tourist attractions like Buckingham Palace, the Natural History Museum and Big Ben, they went on a daytrip to the beautiful university town of Oxford, they went shopping in Camden Market and they hit the West End to see The Lion King. All this and more with an exceptional historic backdrop.
Many thanks to everyone who made this trip possible in difficult circumstances, especially the accompanying teachers for taking care of them and guiding them through these very long, full days.
