Among all the rules that we have implemented this course to take care of our health and prevent contagion by covid-19, we would like to highlight today a measure that is proving to be very popular with students: outdoor classes .
We are constantly hearing from the media about the benefits of teaching outdoors, to minimize the risks of contagion. This is an interesting solution for reducing transmission: wearing a mask, at a distance and in relative silence, outdoors not only reduces airborne transmission, but also through contact with surfaces, since solar radiation reduces the time that the virus is active on a surface.
In this sense, we are fortunate because at Juan de Lanuza we have a 33,000 square metre plot where we can carry out this type of outdoor activity. This is what the students of 1st year of Baccalaureate who have been working in teams on the subject of Citizenship in the playground, undoubtedly want to repeat the experience.
