ROMPIENDO LAS REGLAS
Introducing 1st Baccalaureate students Claudia Vázquez, Claudia de Roque, Carlota Laborda and Esther Embid, and their New Venture Today project Rompamos las Reglas, designed to make the school community more aware of the serious problem of menstrual poverty, and to help fight it.
Firstly, they organised a collection of menstrual hygiene products in school, which was very successful. These products were then donated to people in need, with the help of the Red Cross, and they were able to learn more from them about their difficult reality.
Furthermore, a collaboration with Amazon Web Services resulted in a donation of menstrual hygiene products to the amount of 2,200 euros which will be destined mainly for Ukraine.
Today, they shared their knowledge with groups from 1st ESO in a fun, informative talk, where they learned a lot about a problem they were unaware of.
Congratulations on this great initiative, girls
