SHOOTING HOOPS WITH CASADEMONT

An unforgettable day for our 2nd ESO students! Last Wednesday, as part of our “Discover a Sport” project, they had the incredible opportunity to share classes with outstanding players from Casademont in the ACB. Among them were Lucas Langarita, world U19 champion, Bell Haynes, bronze medalist in the absolute world championship with Canada, and Delany, an international player with New Zealand. During these classes, students not only played alongside these professionals but also had the opportunity to ask them questions about high-level sports and other topics of interest.

But the excitement was not limited to secondary students. The younger children in Early Years and Primary also enjoyed time with the players and the mascot, Link, during recess, an experience they will surely remember for a long time!

All this was possible thanks to the ongoing collaboration we have established since last year with the Basket Zaragoza Foundation. This collaboration not only provides us with the opportunity to have excellent coaches in all categories but also allows us to organize special events like this, as well as visits to games and to the Príncipe Felipe stadium to carry out a variety of enriching activities.
