Workshop on the IB Learner Profile: Promoting Holistic Development
On Tuesday, 26th November, the School hosted a workshop for families focused on the attributes of the IB Learner Profile, a core element of the Primary Years Programme (PYP).
During the session, participants explored the 10 attributes of the IB Profile, designed to nurture responsible, internationally-minded individuals prepared for the challenges of the 21st century. Families reflected on their own attributes, identifying their strengths and areas they wish to enhance, with the aim of fostering these qualities in their children as well.
The workshop also included a detailed explanation of the PYP Portfolio, a tool that allows students to document and reflect on their progress throughout the program while developing these skills and values.
This activity highlights our commitment to involving families in the educational process and creating a collaborative environment that supports the holistic development of our students.
We are grateful to all the families for their active participation in this first workshop of the year. We will continue organizing activities that strengthen this collaboration and deepen understanding of the PYP curriculum framework.
