Juan de Lanuza: National Recognition for Human-Centered Educational Innovation
Juan de Lanuza School continues to stand out as a leading institution in responsible and meaningful digital education.
This week, two major initiatives led by our teaching staff received recognition at the National Educational Innovation Awards:
- “More Life, Less Social Media”, presented by teacher Ricardo Aguado, was selected as a finalist for its pioneering approach to digital wellbeing, encouraging healthier and more conscious technology habits among teenagers.
- “Technology with Purpose”, represented by Sheila Taylor and Cristian Ruiz, was awarded for its interdisciplinary integration of computational thinking, artificial intelligence and real-world tech design across the whole Secondary stage.
Both projects reflect our commitment to developing Human Digital Competence, where students learn not only to use technology but to understand it, question it and apply it responsibly.
We are proud of our staff and students for leading the way in meaningful innovation that improves learning and life.
